Recipe number 10. Non-woven covering material

Dew, which falls at night from the end of July, creates excess moisture in the growth zone of potato bushes. This is in the hands of late blight and from the second half of the summer, the infection begins to spread rapidly. To prevent such a nuisance, potato growers cover the night of planting with non-woven material (aggrotech, spun-bond, lutrasil, and so on). In the morning, the shelter is removed. This method is effective from dew, but will not protect the plants from the August rains.

Methods will allow you to successfully treat the initial stages of potato late blight and conduct effective prevention of infection. Let me remind you that all spraying is carried out in dry, calm weather, preferably early in the morning or at dusk. And check the forecast for precipitation in the coming days. Then preventive measures are better to postpone.
